How Kombinat exceeds the quality of 3D printing

No 3D printer can achieve the quality of parts made at Kombinat. This is because a mix of analog and chemical processing is applied to each object. Then, high-quality casting brings copies at micrometer accuracy. Resulting are sci-fi resin kits products, often robots or mechas.

Even in cases when 3D printing is used, parts are post-processed via sanding, drilling, decomposing into parts, and gluing. Chemical processing includes priming and painting.

Thanks to the dark final colors of master objects it is easy to examine them for smoothness and micro damages that would be most possibly chemical copying process (casting).
